Pricing
Due to economies of scale our buying capacity allows us to offer you the best and most competitive prices on all our products, in order to ensure you get the best value for money, on every single piece of fine jewellery you create with us.
All our products are priced, and the related product information provided in good faith. We aim to keep the prices and information on this website as accurate as possible however, Diamond Jewels will not be held accountable for any errors, typographical, human, technical or otherwise in the rare event that prices are incorrect and not up to date. Should this be the case Diamond Jewels reserves the right to change and correct such prices effective immediately. If your order is affected by incorrect pricing, we will not be able to honour the sale and, will let you know immediately as soon as we become aware of such an inaccuracy or discrepancy if this were to happen.
Due to fluctuations beyond our control in market rates for gemstones and precious metals, we reserve the right to change our pricing, at any time and with immediate effect, without any prior notice. The implementation of such changes will not affect any purchases or orders already agreed by us however, prices may vary for any quotations we provide where a firm order has not been placed. Where this applies in your case we will of course let you know at the earliest opportunity.
Rings above size 'S' attract an additional charge as listed in the drop down size menu for the individual ring listing. This reflects the additional cost of the metal needed to produce these rings. Where your design contains gemstones on the shoulders of the ring, also known as sidestones, there may be additional charges if slightly more gemstones are needed in order to maintain the appearance of the design. We will of course let you know if this is the case and will be happy to talk you through the options, we want you to be fully satisfied with your design.
Collection & Delivery
Although we prefer that you come into our office by appointment to collect your fine jewellery, we offer fully insured and tracked delivery on all orders to valid UK mainland addresses. All our products are sent in discrete packaging with no indication of the contents of the parcel and, will not have the words ‘Diamond’ or ‘Jewel/Jewels/Jewellery’ on the parcel. Someone will need to be present to accept the delivery and all deliveries will need to be signed for by the recipient. Whilst we endeavour and make every effort to have your jewellery delivered to you within the estimated timeframe or specified date, due to unforeseen circumstances delays and or cancellations can happen. Diamond Jewels accepts no liability for loss, damage or any other expenses you might incur as a result of any delays and or cancellations affecting your delivery. If for any reason the delivery is unsuccessful on the first attempt, a further attempt will be made to redeliver your jewellery. If following a second attempt the parcel is returned to us undelivered then additional costs will apply if you wish to have it redelivered.
Our stringent quality control processes ensure that every piece of jewellery we produce reaches you in perfect condition. We package your jewellery carefully so that it reaches you in the same condition that it leaves us. If however you notice there is any damage to your piece of jewellery, we ask that you notify us within 3 working days of receiving it, by providing us with a description and clear photographs of both the packaging that your jewellery arrived in as well as the damage itself. If you notice damage after 3 working days please contact us and we will do our utmost to assist you. The quickest way to resolve issues with defects is to bring your jewellery in to our office so that it can be assessed by our workshops and, the necessary steps can then be taken to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
GIA Diamond Jewellery
All GIA (Gemological Institute of America) diamond jewellery products are accompanied by the original GIA security certificate for the individual diamond. For security reasons we send certificates separately to the item of jewellery and this will arrive shortly after you receive your jewellery. Please keep both your invoice and GIA certificates safe as replacement certificates are expensive and, need to be applied for and obtained directly from GIA using the laser inscribed serial number in your diamond. Replacement invoices can be issued at any time for a nominal fee of £10 including VAT.
Valuation Certificates
Valuation certificates with an appraisal of your jewellery can be issued for any jewellery purchased from us, for a fee of £35 Including VAT and take between 3 to 5 days to issue. Priority certificates can be provided urgently by next day delivery to arrive Tuesday to Saturday at a UK mainland address for an additional fee of £10 including VAT, providing we receive your request no later than 3pm on a business day (Monday to Friday). Please note someone will need to be available to receive and sign for the certificate on the day of delivery.
Orders for multiple products
Diamond Jewels reserves the right to decline orders for multiple products where it is apparent that the intention is to select between pieces and return the rest. All our products are handcrafted in our workshops, manufactured bespoke, specifically to order for each and every client. We would not be able to support our bespoke business model if items were purchased in the knowledge that they would subsequently be returned.
Bespoke & Cancellations
In the event that you wish to commission your very own bespoke CAD design, we can work with you to create your very own piece of fine jewellery. There is an upfront charge for this service of £50 for each design that we create for you. This charge will be offset and can be redeemed against any firm order that you then place with us however, is non-refundable if you don't place an order.
For cancellations of bespoke orders once your design has gone into production, there will be an administrative fee dependent upon the value of the individual piece concerned. This fee contributes towards the manufacturing and processing costs incurred by us up to the point that you decide to cancel your order.
Cancellations of orders for bespoke pieces of jewellery up to the value of £500 will attract an administrative fee of £50, for pieces between the values of £500 to £1,000 this fee will be £75. Bespoke pieces between the value of £1,000 and £4,000 will attract an administrative fee of £100 and, any pieces between the value of £4,000 up to £25,000 will attract an administrative fee of a maximum of 10% of the value of your piece, dependent upon the cost of materials, labour and professional fees at the time your order is placed and our workshop production cycle.
If the production of your jewellery is completed or towards the end of its production cycle, then you may be responsible for the full value of the item of jewellery.
